About Us

Whiskers & Waggles proudly sells Made in the USA pet products that are also eco-friendly.  We started the business because we personally had a hard time finding durable pet toys made of natural or recycled materials which were also Made in the USA.  We were tired of buying toys that didn't last and we were scared of buying toys possibly tainted with toxic ingredients. We knew other pet parents that felt the same way so we decided to start WhiskersandWaggles.com.  We sell mostly online but also sell at local pet events and pet expos.  We work closely with a UPS Store in Huntington Beach and offer a buy online / pick-up in store option for our local customers who want to save on shipping and we have just launched a Whiskers & Waggles Made in the USA Pet Products kiosk there featuring some of our most popular products.

We are a small but growing business and are grateful for the opportunity to share the products we've found with you.  We appreciate your business and pay it forward by giving back to the community by donating 5% of our net profit to local animal care centers and service animal organizations like Guide Dogs of America.       

Why buy a pet product that is made in the USA? What’s wrong with buying something manufactured in foreign countries like China? Chinese made pet toys have been found to have heavy metals and other toxic ingredients. ConsumerAffairs.com tested random dog toys that were made in China. Their testing found that the toys contained lead, cadmium, arsenic, chromium and mercury. Testing by HealthyStuff.org and other independent consumer organizations have had similar results. Not all Chinese pet products are unsafe, but unless they’re tested, how will you know?

Products made in China might cost less, but they could also put your pet at risk. With so many wonderful products that are Made in the USA, you can feel good knowing that you’ve given your pet a quality product and that you’re doing everything you can to keep your pet safe.  

We’re always looking for other Made in the USA pet products to offer to our customers and will be adding more products soon.
